As a result of the current economic conditions, we the concerned citizens of Ohio respectfully request that you suspend the state gas tax for the remainder of this year. As you already know, Ohio ranks as having one of the highest gas taxes in the nation. Many hard working Ohio votes and their families are hurting right here and right now, having to make many tough choices because of never ending cycle of increasing prices. It seems like every thing is going up - but our wages! Of course we cannot vote ourselves a pay-increase like the House of Representatives can - however, it is about time that you and the legislative team learn what we, the voting public, already know - learn to do without! This temporary tax relief will help Ohioans right now! Take a gamble on us, the hard working voters of Ohio - SUSPEND THE OHIO GAS TAX NOW and it will bring dollars into Ohio at 65 MPH.
